17 May 2011 Perth

A little update since I am so lazy at the moment, really I just think that what I have been up to hasn't been all that exciting. We have moved to Perth, and it still feels like summer really. There has been a couple of drops of rain today and yesterday but we are still heading for the low twenties. I am still wearing shorts. 

I am still job hunting, I am trying to shop around this time, not just in Geology, I dislike the waiting process, you hand your CV to someone, have a chat and then you just wait and wait. I have called people back today but everyone is busy or on the phone already, I always hate waiting for people to call back too, you never know if they will or when, and I have things I would prefer to be doing. I am doing a bit of knitting while waiting though. 

I am working on a little baby singlet, I am on the finishing parts now. I have done the neckband and now I am doing a rib on the arm holes, one down and one to go. It's a cute thing. I will of course show a photo when it is finished. I have also been working on a little waistcoat that I am making up as I go along. It should be interesting when it is done too. 

Well I am going to go for a walk soon and check out some cars, I hope I don't get rained on as it is fairly dark out there. 

Reece is away at work, yesterday he saw a herd of wild camels, cool eh. 

He has been taking some good photos, though he will soon be upgrading his camera, I can't wait to see his shots then.

Hopefully I will have some progress to report soon on the job front, until then I will keep happily knitting.
