2 May 2011 Happy Birthday Steve

It's my big brother's birthday, I hope that things are going well at his end. Oh dear I have the hiccups. Always so annoying. 

I have had messages this morning, one from my brother Roger to tell me that his parcel has turned up but he is going to wait until he gets home for the boys to open it. The other was from Jo. She received the knitted set, and text mum to say that she likes it, which is great. 

I finally finished cleaning all the stuff from the floods this morning, so I am meant to be going out to coffee to celebrate this afternoon. 

I am flying to Perth on Wednesday, Reece finishes his first swing at work that day. I am looking forward to getting over there but I still have no idea what I am going to do for a job. I guess I will see what way the wind blows. 

Last Thursday Reece's parents and I went to Bright for the night, it's about 3 hours towards the NSW border from here. We had beautiful blue skies and the trees were fabulous in their autumn colours. I bought a couple of cool things, it sort of reminds me a bit of Arrowtown. 

It was nice to get out and have a break from the cleaning. Not much progress on the knitting here but I will try and get some done next week.
