Well I am becoming use to being a 'Lady of Leisure', I am still waiting to get a job, it's a tiring process. I have been filling in my days ok. I joined the gym in Cannington and so far I have been every day. Yesterday I did a Body Pump class which I had never done before. I had to lift weights on one of those bars. Maybe one day I will get muscles like some of them girls in the class. They were all girls except for the instructor, maybe all the boys were working at that time of day, there were 20+ people there though, and the girl in front of me took pity on me and showed me the ropes, which was lovely. I was feeling a bit noobish. My thighs are not liking me so much and to compound it I went back to the gym today and did a one on one with an instructor using some of the weight machine. It was a Personal Trainer thank goodness otherwise I wouldn't be able to walk, but it was a class for 1-4 people but there was just me there today.
I am sort of considering training for the city to surf at the end of August, just doing the 12km run. I might need to start planning for that now to work myself up to it.
I have also been cooking some different things, testing out the kitchen, deciding I don't like Brad's oven very much. It doesn't have a top element, so I am finding things are not browning on the top or evenly cooking as the fan doesn't seem to be doing a good job. I don't think he uses it very much.
Today I am going to make myself a Shepherd's Pie for dinner. I hope it turns out, but how hard can it be. It might not be pretty but I am sure it will be edible.
I have started knitting a baby jacket in four ply. Just from the same book as the previous singlet top, it's the matching pattern. I have only knit one repeat so far as it takes a while to knit across the 241 stitches on one needle.
I dragged Brad out for lunch down in Freo yesterday. I am not sure if he appreciated it or not. I carried the conversation and continually pointed out interesting sites to see. We then went to the Freo markets where I picked up some fresh vege and then we stopped at Spotlight on the way home. He had never been to Spotlight before, he thought it was a lighting store. It was amusing.
I will leave you with a picture that Reece e-mailed me from his work. He took my camera to work this swing to see if he wants to buy one.
