I am no longer waiting. I have almost completed my first week at work. I am enjoying my work, I managed to get a city job and the pay is not too shabby too. I am starting to admire my mum a lot more. Really good time management.
After getting up early, going to work, you have to find time to go to the gym, make dinner, wash up, get ready for the next day, do some cleaning and hopefully find some time to just relax.
At the moment it is 8pm and I have just managed to sit down for dinner while I wait for a phone call from Reece. I don't know how anyone makes it to the bank, post office, getting a haircut or just getting their groceries done while working a city job. I have a parcel waiting at the post office for me, which I will only manage to get to on Saturday morning.
Enough moaning from me. I am actually enjoying trying to work it out, it's a challenge. I mean I did go to the gym after work today and have manage to do 3 loads of washing and cleaned the bathrooms and vacuumed. I didn't actually 'cook' dinner either, but I will have to do the dishes in a bit though.
Today I finally got around to registering myself for the 4km run in the city to surf in August. I can't back out of it now. I am looking forward to it though. I will let you know my times for it.
Last week Reece and I went down to Margaret River for two nights. We stopped in Bussellton on the way down and walked the longest Jetty.
We stayed at a B & B called the Heritage Trail Lodge, even though the room was a little cold as they don't leave a heater on, the bed was so cozy. I didn't want to get out of it. I want a bed like that next time we buy one.
We went on a wine tour with Bushtucker Tours. It was a lovely small group, just the right size I think, 8 of us. We visited four different wineries, the cheese factory, the chocolate factory and the Bootleg Brewery. It was quite a lot for one day, and we tried a lot of things, came home with our wallets emptier and wine case fuller.
We managed to get the best Autumn weather while we were there and the little car was excellent to drive.
